Indications for the use of LDT
 |
Traumatic: torn
muscles, sprain articulations, joint dislocations, knee edemas after
meniscus and ligament lesions, tendonitis, tendonsynovitis, fractures
(pre-, in, post cast), hematomas, ski thumb injuries. Reduction of the
edema helps make for an early less painful mobilization, or prepare the
clients tissue before applying the plaster. |

infectious
(ORL, odontological, etc) |

Disease |
We can drain all
conditions: from the first early stages of venous diseases up to varicose veins,
post thrombotic leg edemas and hypodermitis, and even late chronic complications
such as venous ulcers.
Surgery
 | Pre
surgery: prepares the tissue for the intervention, drains the tissue,
clears the lymph passages before the post surgical edema |
 | Post
Surgery - assist normal function of processing fluid, removal of waste,
reduction in instances of infection |
 | Scars,
fibrosis (cicatrisation effect, anti-pain, anti infection), and some
effects against hypertrophy or keloid scars |
 | For any
surgery removing major lymph nodes (post mastectomy, post prostatectomy,
post hysterectomy, post-ovariectomy, post-nephrectomy, ORL surgery, tumor
removal) |

Gerontology
 | LDT is a
very good technique to use with elderly people because of the profound
effects on tissue regeneration and oxygenation, deep cleansing of the
body, immune system stimulation, stress release, and health maintenance.
You can apply LDT for almost every indication with elderly people because
of its gentleness and harmlessness. LDT can be used at home as a family
practice. Care should be observed in the first 3 or 4 treatments. |
 | Cerebral
degeneration, memory loss. |
Gynecology
 |
Menstruation: PMS, painful or hemorrhagic menstrues, breast pain or
swollen breasts (from menstrues, oestro-progestatif pill) |
 | Pregnancy:
Stretch marks (belly, breasts): “striata gravidarium,” “cutis striata
lymphostatica”. About 50 % of them can usually be alleviated. It isi a
very long process and the results are better if the drainage begins in the
early stages. |
 | Swollen
legs, varicose veins |
 | Breast
feeding: breast soreness, cracks or fissures in the puerperal period,
prevention o r treatment of scarring, anti infection |
